So....thanks to the miracle of mother nature, there was no book club meeting this weekend and Rick didn't come to town. *Sigh*. Just as well, I suppose. I think some significant changes will be coming down the road. Speaking of which, I didn't mention the flowers and teddy bear that he sent to work for my birthday. That was very sweet. Thanks Rick.

I'm starting to feel the crunch of overworked and underpaid. On the plus side, there are occasional little perks like business cards to maintain the illusion of importance. I think I need a nap and some chammomile tea....gotta get ready for the Monday grind. Ugh.
