Text Mess(ages)

Since when has "text" become a verb? I overheard two people on the train yesterday and one said to the other " I texted the number to Jenna". But he kinda stumbled when he got to "texted", because it's such an awkward word. I can't bring myself to use it yet.

Anyway....have you gotten text spam yet? I got one recently, so I know the flood can't be too far behind. There should be a way to block incoming messages. Dammit.

Blogger Dee's two cents:

Is that spam from your actual phone in the pic?
Am I wrong about this--you only get charged if you open the message?

Couldn't you just delete the message if you don't know the sender?
