Lifestyles of the poor and nameless

Worse things have happened....

Did anyone see the infamous clip from 106 & Park where Michelle (of Destiny's Child) fell on the floor? I recently saw it for the first time and I have to say....that's going to make headlines for years to come. Sadly, it makes me feel better about my own spill in the street on the way to my interview a couple weeks ago.

Alot of people have criticized Beyonce and Kelly for not stopping to help her. As the saying goes, though "the show must go on".

Here's the clip: http://home.comcast.net/~caligee/dc.gif

Blogger Dee's two cents:

luckily my browser is quite slow, so I had a chance to note and critique every subtle movement. Note that Michelle is holding onto Kelly's shoulder, seemingly for support. Kelly looks at her as she starts to tumble, perhaps thinking she'll recover. Then as, inevitably, gravity takes over, Kelly's face seems to say "Gosh, I wonder how far she'll fall". Then when Michelle has irretrievably hit the ground, "Oh, all the way then, after all". Meanwhile, Beyonce's face turns in the direction of the disturbance and actually fails to disguise an expression of glee! I'm happy to say, though, that Kelly is able to maintain a distant look of concern.
Finally, do you believe in signs? This is just like Paul McCartney being barefoot on the cover of the Abbey Road album.
